Combine your love for food and wine with your love for nature on this unique Wineries to Waterways experience. You’ll start your day with an indulgent Champagne breakfast at a waterfront café overlooking the spectacular Marlborough Sounds with its vast maze of deep channels, sheltered waterways and secluded bays. You’ll then transfer to Picton and board MV Tory where your skipper will expertly guide you through this coastal wonderland of wildlife including dolphins, seals, shags and little blue penguins. After a wonderful time on the water, you’ll step ashore to enjoy a lazy afternoon of gourmet regional specialties and fine wines. On the return cruise you can sit back and relax or try your hand at fishing. Your catch will even be filleted for you. Perfect!
There’s just so much to do in this picturesque area. Hire a kayak and explore the beautiful coves at your own leisurely pace. Or go and see the stunning waterfalls on the Queen Charlotte Track. It’s an uphill walk, but the breathtaking ocean views are worth it. And make sure you visit a local mussel farm and taste the little morsels as fresh as they get.
